【摘要】:1.1.1Thisstandardappliestovesselsthatcarryorburnasfuel,flammableorcombustibleliquids.Italsoappliestovesselsthatcarryorhavecarriedflammablecompressedgases,chemicalsinbulk,orotherproductscapableofcreatingahazardouscondition.1.1.2Thisstandarddescribestheconditionsrequiredbeforeaspacecanbeenteredorworkcanbestarted,continued,orstartedandcontinuedonanyvesselunderconstruction,alteration,orrepair,oronanyvesselawaitingshipbreaking.1.1.3Thisstandardappliestocoldwork,applicationorremovalofprotectivecoatings,andworkinvolvingriveting,welding,burning,orsimilarfire-producingoperations.1.1.4ThisstandardappliestovesselswhileintheUnitedStates,itsterritoriesandpossessions,bothwithinandoutsideofyardsforshipconstruction,shipalteration,shiprepair,orshipbreaking.1.1.5Thisstandardappliesspecificallytothosespacesonvesselsthataresubjecttoconcentrationsofcombustible,flammable,andtoxicliquids,vapors,gases,andchemicalsashereinafterdescribed.Thisstandardisalsoapplicabletothosespacesonvesselsthatmightnotcontainsufficientoxygentopermitsafeentry.1.1.6Thisstandardappliestoland-sideconfinedspaces,whetherstationaryormobile,orotherdangerousatmosphereslocatedwithintheboundariesofashipyardorshiprepairfacility.1.1.7ThisstandardappliestoMarineChemistsperformingactivitiesrelatedtoinspectionandcertificationproceduresdescribedinthisstandardandconsultingservicesconnectedtherewithonboardanyvessel.1.1.8*Thisstandarddoesnotapplytophysicalhazardsoftanksandconfinedorenclosedspacesonavesselorvesselsections,orintheshipyard.Forthepurposesofthisstandard,physicalhazardsdonotincludefireandexplosionhazards.
