【摘要】:Thethreetestmethodsprovidesimulatedabrasionconditions,whichcanbeusedtoevaluatetheeffectsonabrasionresistanceofconcrete,concretematerials,andcuringorfinishingprocedures.Theymayalsobeusedforqualityacceptanceofproductsandsurfaceexposedtowear.Theyarenotintendedtoprovideaquantitativemeasurementoflengthofservice.Theequipmentusedbyeachoftheseproceduresisportableandthussuitableforeitherlaboratoryorfieldtesting.Thethreeproceduresdeterminetherelativewearofconcretesurfacesasfollows:ProcedureA8212;Therevolving-diskmachineoperatesbyslidingandscuffingofsteeldisksinconjunctionwithabrasivegrit.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthreeproceduresfordeterminingtherelativeabrasionresistanceofhorizontalconcretesurfaces.Theproceduresdifferinthetypeanddegreeofabrasiveforcetheyimpart,andareintendedforuseindeterminingvariationsinsurfacepropertiesofconcreteaffectedbymixtureproportions,finishing,andsurfacetreatment.Theyarenotintendedtoprovideaquantitativemeasurementofthelengthofservicethatmaybeexpectedfromaspecificsurface.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyofeachother.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(WarningFreshhydrauliccementitiousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoskinandtissueuponprolongedexposure.)Note18212;Otherproceduresareavailableformeasuringtheabrasionresistanceofconcretesurfacesinadditiontothethreeprocedurescontainedinthistestmethod.ConsiderationshouldbegiventoTestMethodsC944andC418.Thetestmethodmostcloselyrepresentingserviceconditionsshouldbeused.
