【摘要】:Theboilingrangedistributionofpetroleumfractionsprovidesaninsightintothecompositionoffeedstocksandproductsrelatedtopetroleumrefiningprocesses.Thegaschromatographicsimulationofthisdeterminationcanbeusedtoreplaceconventionaldistillationmethodsforcontrolofrefiningoperations.Thistestmethodcanbeusedforproductspecificationtestingwiththemutualagreementofinterestedparties.Boilingrangedistributionsobtainedbythistestmethodareessentiallyequivalenttothoseobtainedbytrueboilingpoint(TBP)distillation(seeTestMethodD2892).TheyarenotequivalenttoresultsfromlowefficiencydistillationssuchasthoseobtainedwithTestMethodD86orD1160.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionofpetroleumproducts.Thetestmethodisapplicabletopetroleumproductsandfractionshavingafinalboilingpointof538x00B0;C(1000x00B0;F)orloweratatmosphericpressureasmeasuredbythistestmethod.Thistestmethodislimitedtosampleshavingaboilingrangegreaterthan55.5x00B0;C(100x00B0;F),andhavingavaporpressuresufficientlylowtopermitsamplingatambienttemperature.Note18212;Sinceaboilingrangeisthedifferencebetweentwotemperatures,onlytheconstantof1.8x00B0;F/x00B0;Cisusedintheconversionofthetemperaturerangefromonesystemofunitstoanother.1.2Thistestmethodisnottobeusedfortheanalysisofgasolinesamplesorgasolinecomponents.ThesetypesofsamplesmustbeanalyzedbyTestMethodD3710.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
