【摘要】:ISO20828:2006establishesauniformpracticefortheissuingandmanagementofsecuritycertificatesforuseinPublicKeyInfrastructureapplications.Assumingthatallentities,intendingtosetupasecuredataexchangetootherentitiesbasedonprivateandpublickeys,areabletoprovidetheirowncertificate,thecertificatemanagementschemeguaranteesthattheentitiesgetalladditionalinformationneededtoestablishtrusttootherentities,fromasinglesourceinasimpleandunifiedformat.ThecertificatemanagementisflexiblewithrespecttotherelationsbetweenCertificationAuthorities,notrequestinganyhierarchicalstructure.Itdoesnotprescribecentralizeddirectoriesorthelike,beingaccessiblebyallentitiesinvolved.Withthesepropertiesthemanagementschemeisoptimisedforapplicationsintheautomotivedomain.ISO20828:2006detailstheroleandresponsibilitiesoftheCertificationAuthorityrelatingtocertificateissuinganddistribution.Itspecifieshowtohandlecertificatevalidityandcertificatepolicies.Thisistheprerequisiteforeachentitytomakesureitcanactuallytrustanotherentitywhenintendingtoexchangedataofaspecifickindwithit.
